Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a qualified histotechnologist to perform complex histological procedures for tissue preparation and analysis by a Pathologist. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science from an accredited college/univeristy.
  • At least 1 year of clinical laboaratory work experience required.
  • Certification: HTL(ASCP) certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) or equivalent.

Additional Job Description

Education: Bachelors Degree in science from an accredited college/univeristy. Experience: At least 1 year of clinical laboaratory work experience required. Certification: HTL(ASCP) certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) or equivalent. NOTE: This is a Career Ladder Position. Internal candidates are required to submit and meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements. External candidates are required to complete Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements within 90 days in position.
