Altasciences Preclinical Columbia LLC is seeking a Histology Technician/Technologist to prepare and process tissue samples for histopathology. You’ll learn tissue trimming, embedding, and routine H&E staining while maintaining lab equipment and an orderly environment.

Minimal experience is welcomed as training is provided; HT (ASCP) eligibility within a year is preferred. On-site role with comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or higher with lab experience or training.
• HT (ASCP) eligible within one year of employment is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and process tissue samples for histopathologic evaluation.
• Perform trimming of fixed tissues and paraffin embedding procedures.
• Carry out routine H&E staining and slide preparation.
• Maintain and document equipment use and laboratory inventory.
• Ensure a clean, safe and compliant laboratory environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize interruptions.
