Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Histology Technologist to perform technical duties in preparing surgical, autopsy, and cytology specimens for microscopic examination. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Completion of one college biology class and/or one college chemistry class required.
• One year of Histology Trainee/Technologist experience.
• Patience, mechanical ability, and knowledge of anatomy, chemistry, and physiology required.
• Experience in enzyme histochemistry and immunoperoxidase stains required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Good hand/eye coordination and speed with accuracy preferred.
