Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

1. Processing tissue and body fluid specimens.
2. Performing routine stains and immunoperoxidase stains.
3. Assisting with frozen sections.

Qualifications needed:

• Technical or vocational training or an Associate's degree.
• Histotechnologist or Medical Lab Scientist certification within one year of employment; ASCP eligible (required within one year) or ASCP registered HT.
• At least 2 years of experience in Histology, on-the-job training, or completion of a relevant program.
