Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related science field preferred.
• Previous years of work experience preferred.
• Experience with tissue processing, embedding, cutting and staining.

Responsibilities

• Process gynecological and non-gynecological cytology tests using ThinPrep and SurePath.
• Perform all histology tasks: processing, embedding, sectioning and staining.
• Provide IHC staining as needed and evaluate test results for accuracy.
• Maintain QC/QA for testing and ensure instrument reliability.
• Keep histology equipment and logs up to date; manage reagents and supplies.
• Support staff, handle inquiries and maintain timely turnaround times.
• Engage in continuous improvement and adhere to safety policies.
