Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related science field or NAACLS accredited histology program preferred.
• Valid HT/HTL registration required; HT/HTL with QIHC preferred.
• 1–5 years of prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic materials as requested by the pathologist.
• Perform quality control and document processes using LIS, spreadsheets or manual methods.
• Clean and maintain instrumentation, benches, and archived materials.
