Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston is seeking a Histology Technician to prepare tissue sections for diagnostic evaluation. You will embed, microtome, stain, cover slip, and manage daily slides, supporting pathologists with IHC and special stains as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year histology laboratory experience.
• Competency in embedding and microtomy.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Manual dexterity and accuracy in high-volume settings.
• Ability to maintain turnaround times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue sections for diagnostic evaluation by pathologists.
• Perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and cover slipping.
• Manage daily slides and support laboratory workflow and quality.
