Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Histology Technician to provide research support administration services for our government customer at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The role covers immunohistochemical techniques, molecular pathology, and laboratory operations to ensure efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, training staff, maintaining inventory, and preparing reports for the Pathology Chief.

Qualifications

• Histotechnician certification (ASCP) or equivalent required.
• Experience with tissue processing and histology basics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs immunohistochemical techniques and routine molecular pathology services.
• Prepares laboratory orders and ensures operations comply with SOPs.
• Provides hands-on training to personnel and mentors staff.
• Maintains safety data sheets and chemical inventory, and manages reagents.
• Assists with purchasing and inventory control for supplies and equipment.
• Acts as designated Team Lead for Laboratory Support and coordinates leaves.
• Other duties as assigned.
