Qualifications

• Excellent communication (oral and written).
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel; digital photography is desirable.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and track items.

Responsibilities

• Routine histology: tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, routine staining and frozen sections per SOPs.
• Backup for Necropsy Lab in Athens Veterinary Diagnostic Lab.
• Trimming biopsy samples and documenting case information.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the histology lab; manage supplies.
• Hazardous material handling and compliance with safety policies.
