Charles River is hiring for a Histology Lab Assistant in Horsham, PA to perform basic histology procedures and assist with shipping and receiving of samples. Documentation and data accuracy are essential for all activities. No degree is required, but a HS diploma/ GED and 1 year of pathology lab experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED required; AA/AS or biology-related degree preferred.
• 1 year of pathology lab experience.
• Ability to document and track processes accurately.
• Ability to work as part of a professional team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform basic histology procedures (trimming, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and coverslipping).
• Receive samples, complete tracking documentation, and prepare pathology materials and data for shipment and archiving.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
