Qualifications

• Minimum experience as a Histology Technician or one year of training under a registered Histology Technologist.
• Licensing as ASCP Histotechnologist (HTL) required.

Responsibilities

• Use various lab equipment for specimen analysis.
• Receive and sort specimens for testing.
• Embed specimens in blocks and process tissues.

Skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Understanding of medical/surgical terminology

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Familiarity with personal protective equipment

Education
