Responsibilities

• Embeds, cuts, mounts, and stains tissue sections on slides.
• Embeds tissue in paraffin blocks.
• Cuts a thin section representative of the diseased tissue.
• Maintains identification and documentation of all specimens and slides.
• Operates histology equipment and maintains workspace and inventory.
