Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• No experience required; recent graduate from an accredited histology program preferred.
• If no degree, 1 year of technical experience in a surgical pathology lab is required.
• 3 years of experience in a surgical pathology lab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut, stain and prepare tissue samples for the pathologist to review.
• Prioritize testing procedures and complete procedures accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper records of all tests in accordance with policies and regulations.
