Responsibilities

• Preparation of specimens for microscopic evaluation by the Pathologist.
• Processing, cutting, embedding tissue and body fluid samples.
• Perform routine and special staining procedures.
• Knowledge of immunohistochemical staining procedures if applicable.
• Use and maintenance of histology equipment.
• Maintenance of manuals, logs and files for the department.
• Other tasks may be assigned by the department manager/director.
