Pay rate is $20/hr with differential. Shift hours are Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. Requires a high school diploma or GED; BA/BS in a biological science is preferred. Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BA/BS in a biological science or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Computer skills and ability to learn a validated system.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue processing and packaging tasks, including debridement, dissection, cutting, cleaning, disinfection, sizing, and preservation.
• Prepare testing equipment and assist with preventative maintenance.
• Embed tissues in paraffin and assist with post-processing decontamination.
• Maintain data documentation for pathologist review.
• Receive, track, and prepare samples for the department.
• Adhere to safety and quality control requirements.
• Train in onboarding skills for tissue handling, trimming, embedding, and staining per training plan.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
