Job summary

Qualifications

• One year experience in an Acute Care Facility setting and 3 years clinical training in an approved Histology Training Program.
• Valid Histology ASCP Certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process all tissues and fluids submitted to the Pathology service.
• Prepare and stain tissue slides and assure they are available in a timely manner for Pathologist review and interpretation.
