Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a scientific field; 6+ years of laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of CAP, CLIA and NY regulations.
• Regulatory inspection preparation and execution experience.
• Proficiency with standard business software and LIMS.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Histology operations ensuring timely sample processing, quality, and delivery to Pathology.
• Lead staff performance reviews and provide coaching and development.
• Develop and review SOPs and training programs for Histology staff.
• Collaborate with QA, IT, Process Engineering, Customer Service, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Support quality assurance activities and implement process improvements.
