The role handles pre-analytical processing of specimens under direct supervision, ensuring proper handling, preparation and distribution for further testing. Responsibilities include preparing specimens, assisting with staining and coverslipping, maintaining accurate labeling, and coordinating with physicians and pathologists while following all safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0 years.
• Licenses/Certifications: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for processing according to laboratory protocols.
• Assist with staining and coverslipping procedures.
• Organize and distribute specimens to maintain workflow.
• Under supervision, assist in cutting various tissue samples for Histology.
• Coordinate autopsy procedure with Physician Assistants and Pathologists.
