Job summary

Innova Solutions in Groton, CT is seeking a Lab Technician for a 12+ month, onsite contract. You will support necropsy and histology workflows, ensuring high-quality data under GLP guidelines and SOPs, and assist with specimen handling and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–3 years of relevant experience or an AS degree with related experience; you’ll work with pathologists and lab staff in a regulated environment, training and maintaining equipment while ensuring

Qualifications

• HS degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience OR
• A.S. Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience
• A.S. Degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Good Laboratory Practice Proficiency

Responsibilities

• Supports study setup for necropsy and histology portions
• Trains to support necropsy and histology per SOPs
• Communicates with pathologist and lab manager for specimen handling
• Ensures proper use and maintenance of equipment and lab space
• Ensures full traceability of work and specimens
