Qualifications

• 2+ years experience performing registration, clerical duties, and sending out of specimen processing
• Follows safety policies and procedures and protects patient information
• Education focused on phlebotomy or laboratory support is preferred

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens and monitor processing under supervision
• Assist with patient registration and order entry procedures
• Label and prepare specimens for testing and courier pickup
• Demonstrate proper specimen collection techniques and identify procedures
• Maintain accuracy of documentation and OSR/pending reports
• Support department goals for service quality and regulatory compliance
