Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for processing and analysis with accurate patient identification.
• Retrieve and verify patient specimens; accession wet tissue, outside/consultation, and cytology specimens.
• Compile work logs, print slides, slide cover slipping, and pathology case distribution.
• Maintain equipment, dispose hazardous waste, and manage chemical storage.
• Answer phones and retain records; assist in other areas as directed.
