Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree preferred.
• Hospital Laboratory experience 3-5 years preferred.
• Must demonstrate annual CAP competencies.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to JC and CAP guidelines and maintains a safe work environment.
• Assists pathologists' assistants and grossing techs in grossing pathology specimens.
• Accession pathology specimens and manage slide/paraffin block filing.
• Assist with gynecological and non-gynecological cytology specimens.
• Prepare digital photography and support multidisciplinary conferences.
