Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Hospital laboratory experience 3-5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of CAP competencies and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assure safety and compliance with JC/CAP guidelines in all procedures.
• Accession pathology specimens and sign-out in collaboration with pathologists.
• Assist grossing techs and PA/grossing staff in histology and pathology workflows.
• Process and prepare tissue specimens and immunohistochemistry results.
