Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Histology Supervisor to join our team at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.

The role leads day-to-day histology operations, ensures quality and compliance with CLIA and CAP, and mentors staff. The position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and requires an Associate’s degree with 5+ years of histology experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Histology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology.
• 5+ years of experience as a Histotechnologist/Histotechnician.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day to day operations of the Histology department.
• Ensure laboratory tests are accurately performed and results are reported in a timely manner.
• Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel of the department.
• Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assay coverage.
• Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed.
