Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX seeks a Supervisor of Histology to manage daily lab operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team of histology technologists.

You will schedule, train, evaluate staff, monitor equipment, and participate in budgeting and policy development to deliver accurate, timely results. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for continuing education.

Formación

• Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• ASCP-Histotechnologist (ASCP-HTL) or ASCP-Histotechnician (ASCP-HT) certification required.
• Experience supervising histology staff and workflows; familiarity with CLIA, OSHA, CAP standards.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises daily functions of the histopathology lab to ensure efficiency.
• Prepares schedules, assigns tasks, and evaluates staff performance.
• Oversees equipment maintenance and preventative servicing of microscopes and cryostats.
• Assists with budgeting; provides input on supplies, personnel and equipment costs.
• Develops and maintains policies for the histopathology laboratory.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and CAP safety standards.
• Keeps current with histopathology trends and continuing education.
• Performs delegated functions as defined by the facility CLIA Director.
