Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a day shift, full-time Histology Supervisor in Westwood, NJ to lead the histology department and oversee staff performing specimen prep and testing for pathology/histology. You will drive quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Required are a relevant bachelor's or associate degree, ASCP certification, and 1+ years in high complexity testing with leadership skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in histology or a related science with lab knowledge.
• ASCP certification to be maintained without lapse during employment.
• Experience with high complexity testing in pathology/histology.
• Strong knowledge of pathology laboratory techniques and QA/QC.
• Leadership experience and ability to manage people.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the histology department and staff.
• Direct oversight of histology specimen preparation and testing.
• Ensure quality control, safety, and problem-solving across operations.

ASCP Certification (M/ASCP, H/ASCP, C/ASCP)

Histology Technologist experience

Histotechnologist certification (preferred)
