Job summary

HistoWiz is seeking a Laboratory Assistant (Mid-Shift) to support lab operations in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing the lab, performing tasks like shipping and receiving projects, and ensuring compliance with quality control standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Ability to follow strict SOPs for quality control.
• Availability to work 10:30am to 7:00pm and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the laboratory for safety and efficiency.
• Handle shipping and receiving of client projects.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as necessary.
• Perform slide and cassette printing, cleaning, and scanning.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure accurate results.
