Job summary

Qualifications

• ASCP registered histologic technician HT/HTL preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a histology technician.
• 2–3 years of team or project management/oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily lab operations and staffing to meet case sign-out goals.
• Supervises Histotechnicians and Grossing Technicians; manages HR activities per policy.
• Leads QA/QC programs, training, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintains lab policies, safety, and regulatory compliance per CLIA/State rules.
• Coordinates with pathologists, physicians, and staff on quality and throughput.
