Job summary

Solaris Health Holdings LLC is seeking a Histotechnologist Manager in Saint Clair Shores, MI. This full-time day shift role leads the lab team, overseeing workflows, training, and regulatory compliance while partnering with Pathologists to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• ASCP Histotechnician (HT) certification and Qualification in Immunohistochemistry (QIHC) required.
• 6+ years in a histology lab, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lab: Oversee daily workflows, team scheduling, and quality assurance.
• Supervise, train, and mentor histotechnologists, technicians, and lab assistants.
• Guide tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and special staining.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with Pathologists and leadership to ensure patient care.
