Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• ASCP Histotechnician (HT) certification and QIHC required.
• 6+ years in histology lab; 3+ years in supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflows, scheduling, and QA to keep the lab running smoothly.
• Train, supervise, and mentor histotechnologists, technicians, and lab assistants.
• Guide routine and specialized histology processes including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with Pathologists and leadership to maintain clear communication and patient care.
