Responsibilities include receiving, processing, and shipping specimens for consult, plus filing and general administrative duties. A strong attention to detail and good communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; science degree preferred.
• Previous lab experience is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technical Staff in histo preparation work as trained and competent.
• Assist the histology secretary by receiving, processing, and shipping specimens for consult.
• Filing and additional clerical duties.
