ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Laboratory professional to lead immunohistochemistry (IHC) and histochemistry (special stains), ISH and immunofluorescence testing. You’ll manage slide prep, QC and LIS interfaces, serving as a HTL III across the lab and playing a key role in complex analytical procedures.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with biology/chemistry credits, 5 years histology experience, and ASCP HTL certification; preferred leadership in IHC platforms.

Responsible for Laboratory immunohistochemistry (IHC) and histochemistry (special stain), in-situ hybridization (ISH) and immunofluorescence testing platforms, including assigned instruments, slide preparation, quality control, and Lab Information Systems (LIS/IT) interfaces. Serves as a system wide resource with advanced technical knowledge and skills. Performs routine and complex analytical procedures in these areas; fulfills role as HTL III.
