Responsibilities

• Obtains and processes pathology specimens maintaining positive specimen identification.
• Assists histology technicians and maintains laboratory equipment.
• Performs clerical and computer tasks necessary for departmental operations.
• Performs frozen section staining and labels slides for diagnostic purposes.
• Communicates to maintain team knowledge and comply with regulatory standards.
