Neuralink in Austin, TX is seeking a Histopathology Intern to support routine histology workflows and the development of advanced tissue visualization techniques. You will work with pathologists and histology specialists to evaluate tissue-device interactions, focusing on benchmarking and scaling volumetric histology pipelines such as tissue clearing and LSFM.

• Pursuing a BA/BS or MS in a relevant science or engineering field.
• Basic understanding of anatomy, neuroanatomy, and microscopy.
• Familiar with lab safety standards and handling biohazardous materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Support routine histology workflows and development of tissue preparation methods.
• Assist benchmarking and scaling of 3D tissue visualization workflows (clearing, LSFM).
• Calibrate and operate lightsheet imaging systems and histology equipment.
• Document protocols, imaging parameters, and data analysis per GDP and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Pathology, Preclinical, and Surgical Engineering teams.
• Maintain laboratory upkeep and inventory of reagents and waste disposal.
