Job summary

American Training in Andover, MA, is seeking a Full Time professional to deliver career training services, including job exploration and workplace readiness training. The role involves developing internships and maintaining documentation while collaborating with various partners.

Position Details

Location: Andover, MA 01810

Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $25.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Deliver Career Training Services curriculum including Job Exploration Counseling, Workplace Readiness Training, Work-Based Learning Experiences, Post-Secondary Exploration, and Self-Advocacy instruction.
• Develop and coordinate internships, employer partnerships, job tours, community-based learning experiences, and field trips.
• Maintain required documentation, attendance records, service plans, progress notes, and outcome tracking in compliance with MassAbility and program requirements.
• Collaborate with schools, families, employers, and community partners while representing American Training professionally and modeling its Mission and WOW! Magic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in transition services, vocational rehabilitation, special education, disability services, or related fields preferred.
• Experience working with youth or young adults with disabilities preferred.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, satisfactory CORI, and appropriate insurance coverage required.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, driving, and community-based travel.
• Ability to lift up to thirty pounds.
• Ability to work in school, community, and employment settings.
• Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies.
