Job summary

Solventum is hiring a HIS Data Center Analyst II to support critical infrastructure across development, testing, ERP, and production environments in Murray, UT. You will lead data center operations, implement server/storage/networking solutions, and participate in on-call rotations to maintain high availability.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years IT experience or a high school diploma with 9+ years, plus 2 years in data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Leads data center operational activities to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of infrastructure supporting software development, testing, ERP systems, performance engineering labs, and critical business applications.
  • Implements server, storage, networking, and data center infrastructure solutions, including racking and stacking equipment, cable management, hardware installation, operating system deployment, firmware upgrades, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle management activities to support business and development needs.
  • Determines infrastructure capacity, operational requirements, and system health through proactive monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineering teams. Identifies risks, recommends improvements, and supports capacity planning to maintain service levels and business continuity.
  • Supports data center operations by maintaining physical and virtual infrastructure, responding to incidents and service requests, performing hardware replacements, coordinating vendor support activities, documenting procedures, and ensuring high availability for development, testing, quality assurance, and production-related environments.
  • Demonstrates willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed to maintain critical infrastructure availability, support maintenance windows, respond to incidents, and minimize business disruption.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (5) years of IT Experience OR High School Diploma/GED from AND (9) years of IT Experience AND In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required: 2 years of data center experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. IT Certifications/ Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA.

The expected compensation range for this position is $107,600 - $147,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).

Onboarding Requirement

To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation.
