Job summary

HTU in Providence, RI seeks an HR/TA coordinator to recruit, train, and manage CE Teaching Assistants and Pre-College Monitors. You will partner with CE leadership to staff events, guide onboarding, and resolve payroll inquiries while maintaining confidential information with discretion.

The role emphasizes organization, independent work, and collaboration within a fast-paced environment. The position includes hybrid work and yearly program coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with databases and relevant technology.
• Commitment to working with diverse student populations and staff.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, and training of CE TAs and Pre-College Monitors.
• Collaborate with CYP team to staff large Pre-College events.
• Provide guidance and instruction to TAs, Monitors, and volunteers.
• Manage onboarding and orientation for TAs, including substitute IDs and issues.
• Oversee time cards and liaise with payroll for issues.
• Support TAs and Monitors with hiring, onboarding, and payment inquiries.
