Job summary

Senior Helpers of Seal Beach, Los Alamitos is seeking caregivers, CNAs, and Home Care Aids to serve clients in Cypress, Long Beach, Lakewood, Norwalk, Downey, Garden Grove, Seal Beach, Huntington Beach CA and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include companionship, daily living assistance, meal prep, transportation, and medication reminders.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance
• Valid TB test (or willing to get one)
• Must be on the California State Registry (or willing to sign up) - HCA
• Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients
• Proficient communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned

Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship through conversation, help with hobbies, meal preparation, and more
• Assist with diet monitoring, walking, personal hygiene care, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with non-medical care needs including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery
• Provide transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, and running errands
• Complete medication reminders
