Job summary

My MediRides in New Port Richey is hiring full-time drivers to transport patients to appointments and PT-related activities. You will work Monday–Friday during daytime hours and receive paid in-field training, use a company vehicle, and a fuel card.

The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and patient-friendly service. Applicants must be at least 21 with 5+ years of verifiable driving, a valid license, and the ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and live within 30 minutes of the applying location.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have 5+ years of verifiable driving experience.
• Candidate must pass pre-employment drug screening, MVR/background check, and driving performance test.
• Must be able to read, write and converse in English.
• Able to use GPS/technology systems and read maps.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and climb in/out of vehicles.
• Provide safe, courteous transportation to medical appointments and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Drive customers to medical appointments, dialysis, physical therapy, pharmacies and other activities on time.
• Operate safely in compliance with laws and PTI policies.
• Report incidents, defects, or maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Perform vehicle inspections during refueling and at start of shift.
• Provide reliable, courteous customer service and professional appearance.
• Follow company policies and procedures and communicate any issues to management.
• Attend in-field training and use provided vehicle and fuel card.

Pay: $15/hr + Per-Trip Incentive

Responsibilities

• This is a Monday-Friday day time job
• Company will provide paid in field training, vehicle to use when transporting customers, and a fuel card
• It is the responsibility of the employee to report any and all moving violations to his or her supervisor immediately
• Drivers are responsible for safely transporting our customer’s to and from doctor’s appointments, dialysis, physical therapy, pharmacies, or any other medical appointments on time, while adhering to federal, state and local traffic laws, as well as PTI’s policies and procedures
• Driving vehicles in a safe manner
• Provide reliable, courteous and respectful customer service
• Report to pickups at the required need time and location to ensure passengers timely arrival for appointments
• Report any defects, mechanical problems, or missing items to your Manager
• Perform a vehicle inspection while refueling vehicle
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding PTI’s business secrets and customer information
• Abide by all Company policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications
