Job summary

My MediRides is seeking full-time drivers in Florida to transport customers to medical appointments on weekdays. You will receive per-trip incentive pay, a fuel card, and paid training, with a flexible schedule and paid time off.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be at least 21, pass drug and background checks, and read English. You will work within PTI policies and maintain safety and confidentiality on every trip.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in state of employment.
• Must live within 30 minutes of location.
• At least 5 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR, background check and driving test.
• Must read, write and converse in English.
• Able to use a GPS/technology system.
• Lift up to 20 pounds and climb in/out of vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Drive customers to medical appointments safely and on time.
• Provide courteous, reliable customer service.
• Use company vehicle and fuel card for trips.
• Report moving violations to supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to federal, state and local traffic laws and PTI policies.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Maintain confidentiality of PTI’s business and customer information.
• Follow schedule Monday–Friday daytime shifts.

Location: New Port Richey, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Seminole

Pay: $15/hr + Per-Trip Incentive

Responsibilities:

• This is a Monday-Friday day time job
• Company will provide paid in field training, vehicle to use when transporting customers, and a fuel card
• It is the responsibility of the employee to report any and all moving violations to his or her supervisor immediately
• Drivers are responsible for safely transporting our customer’s to and from doctor’s appointments, dialysis, physical therapy, pharmacies, or any other medical appointments on time, while adhering to federal, state and local traffic laws, as well as PTI’s policies and procedures
• Driving vehicles in a safe manner
• Provide reliable, courteous and respectful customer service
• Report to pickups at the required need time and location to ensure passengers timely arrival for appointments
• Report any defects, mechanical problems, or missing items to your Manager
• Perform a vehicle inspection while refueling vehicle
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding PTI’s business secrets and customer information
• Abide by all Company policies and proceduresAll other duties as assigned by supervisor
