Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Transport Associate to support patient movement across the Central Transport department. You will help transport patients throughout the campus to aid clinical teams and ensure timely care delivery.

Strong communication in English and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential. CPR certification within 90 days is required, and weekend/holiday shifts are expected to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

• CPR certification within 90 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Availability for weekends, holidays and other shifts.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide transport for patients across the facility to support care teams.
• Support multidisciplinary departments by moving patients as needed throughout the institution.

Required Qualifications

• Require CPR certification within ninety (90) days of hire. Certification must be maintained thereafter.
• Require availability for weekends, holidays and other shifts.
• Require ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer amiable personality and a willing and cooperative attitude.
• Prefer demonstrated use of appropriate judgment when in contact with patients, the public, and other staff members.
• Prefer experience in customer service/relations-related positions, preferably within the healthcare or hospitality setting.
