Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an Environmental Services staff member to clean and service patient rooms, units, and offices across the hospital and subsidiaries. You will operate select electrical equipment and must communicate in English.

Weekend, holiday, and varied shift availability is required. Standards follow established procedures to ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and staff; must be able to read and understand written instructions in English.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends, holidays and other shifts.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services all hospital units including patient rooms, critical care and specialty areas.
• Operates a variety of electrical and battery-powered equipment on a limited basis.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned areas as per established procedures.
