Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a housekeeping associate to clean and service patient rooms, units, critical care and specialty areas, as well as offices at the SMHCS North Port facility and its subsidiaries.

You will follow established procedures and may operate a variety of electrical and battery-powered equipment in a support role that keeps clinical areas safe and ready. This position requires weekend and holiday availability and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Prefer able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service units, patient rooms, critical care and specialty areas, as well as offices.
• Operate various electrical and battery-powered cleaning equipment as needed.
