Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Venice, FL seeks a skilled Environmental Services Technician to operate a range of floor care equipment and refinish tile floors while maintaining carpeted areas. You will follow established procedures and help train other staff on proper techniques and equipment use.

Responsibilities include using electrical and battery-powered machines, adhering to safety guidelines, and supporting weekend and holiday shifts as needed to keep patient areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Require two (2) years of experience operating a variety of electrical and battery powered equipment and floor care/maintenance equipment.
• Require availability to work on weekends, holidays and other shifts.
• Require basic ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
