Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an Environmental Services teammate to clean, disinfect, and service hospital units, patient rooms, critical care, specialty areas, and offices of the hospital and its subsidiaries. You will operate electrical and battery-powered equipment as needed.

Availability to work weekends and holidays is required, and basic reading and writing in English is necessary. Preferred candidates have at least one year of housekeeping or environmental services

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to clean and disinfect hospital units.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer successful L2 Background screening.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience in housekeeping, linen or environmental services.

Preferred Education

• HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Preferred License and Certs

• FDL: Valid Driver's License
