Job Duties

• Receive hands-on training to operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Load and unload materials and parts from CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Assemble products using pneumatic and hand tools.
• Grind, deburr, and clean finished parts to meet quality standards.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure product accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Required Skills

• Previous machine operating, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read measurements and use basic measuring tools.
• Comfortable working with machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Peoria, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
