Overview

We are hosting a HIRING EVENT, Saturday June 7, 2025, and are seeking dedicated, experienced, and skilled Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Class A commercial driving with touch freight experience and will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities: The incumbent is responsible for transporting and delivering freight to franchise stores and/or production kitchens safely, legally, and on time. This position involves working in environments with varying temperature and humidity, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas of the trailer, along with changing outdoor weather conditions.

Location: Burleson, TX

Pay Rate: $35.87/hr

Schedule: 5-day workweek. Must be open to overnights.

Dispatch Time: between 2:00 am - 4:00 am

Responsibilities

1. Operate a tractor-trailer to transport products to destinations.
2. Conduct pre-trip inspections for safety.
3. Ensure delivery paperwork is complete before departure.
4. Prepare and provide delivery documentation.
5. Unload cargo safely into store locations.
6. Scan product labels and report damages or shortages.
7. Maintain logs according to regulations.
8. Communicate with the Member Services team regarding delays or issues.
9. Keep the truck interior clean and remove delivery trash.
10. Perform post-trip inspections and report vehicle issues.
11. Represent NDCP professionally to customers.
12. Train and work with a Delivery Assistant as needed.

Supervision Exercised: No direct supervisory responsibilities but may oversee a Delivery Assistant.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
3. Minimum 6 months driving experience; 1 year preferred.
4. Current DOT Medical Certification and pass pre-employment requirements.
5. Ability to lift 50+ lbs, operate hand trucks/pallet jacks.
6. Dependable with excellent customer service skills.
7. If applicable, ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission.
8. Ability to operate lift gates and refrigeration units.
9. Register with the Clearinghouse.
