Job Description

Amcor is hiring for our Specialty Films production plant in Oshkosh, near the outlet mall.

Role Overview

As an assistant in the Clean Room, Coating, Converting, Extrusion, Lamination, Rewind, Slitting, or Press departments, you'll develop skills through training programs. Starting at an assistant level, you can progress to become a machine operator, with opportunities for cross-training and skill development for a successful career at Amcor.

Shifts

• 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (day/night)
• 12-hour straight day shifts (5:00am-5:00pm)
• 12-hour straight night shifts (5:00pm-5:00am)

Compensation

$24.17/hour plus $1.20/hour night shift premium and 1.5x pay on Sundays. Work 3 or 4 days weekly with schedules provided a year in advance, offering a three-day weekend every other week.

Responsibilities

• Assist Coater Operator with various tasks
• Operate and backup machine operation
• Manage stock, rolls, and machine adjustments
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50-60 lbs
• Stand and walk for 12 hours
• Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting
• Use of hands and wrists regularly
• Climb platforms as needed
