Job Description

Amcor is seeking individuals to join our Specialty Films production plant in Oshkosh, near the outlet mall.

Role Overview

Working in departments such as Clean Room, Coating, Converting, Extrusion, Lamination, Rewind, Slitting, or Press, you will develop skills through our training programs. Starting at an assistant level, you will learn the basics and have opportunities to progress to a machine operator role, with cross-training options for career development.

Shifts

• 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (days to nights)
• 12-hour shifts on a straight days schedule (5:00 am - 5:00 pm)
• 12-hour shifts on a straight nights schedule (5:00 pm - 5:00 am)

Compensation

$24.17/hour plus $1.20/hour night shift premium and 1.5x pay on Sundays. Work 3 or 4 days weekly with schedules provided a year in advance, offering a three-day weekend every other week.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Coater Operator with job tasks
• Learn machine operation and serve as backup
• Handle stock banding, loading/unloading, and equipment maintenance
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50-60 lbs
• Stand and walk for 12 hours
• Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and use of hands
• Ability to step up/down from platforms
• Reasonable accommodations considered
