Job summary

Bradigan’s Incorporated, a local petroleum company, is seeking a dayshift dispatcher to coordinate customer orders, deliveries and driver assignments.

You will handle phone and email inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure compliance with safety and hazmat regulations while maintaining accurate inventory records and timely communication with management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of trucking and dispatching experience.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline discipline.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and hazmat rules.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders by phone and email.
• Dispatch deliveries in a cost-effective, safe and compliant manner.
• Manage driver issues and allocations promptly.
• Maintain bulk petroleum inventories at plants and cardlock locations.
• Assist management with auto-fill inventories and customer inventories.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and driver safety training.

Local Petroleum Company looking for a dayshift dispatcher.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Take customer orders by phone and email
• Resolve customer concerns or problems quickly and professionally
• Dispatch deliveries using the most efficient, cost effective, safe and compliant manner
• Manage driver issues including allocation problems, breakdowns and other items promptly
• Manage Bulk Petroleum inventories at the bulk plants and cardlock locations
• Assist management of customer inventories to determine when to send auto fills
• Resolve customer concerns or problems quickly and professionally
• Keep current with driver safety, equipment safety and hazmat regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule/Hours

• Dayshift - Hours TBD upon hire
• Holiday rotation with other dispatchers
• Cross-train to cover for other dispatchers as needed
